Where are the guests?
II got conned by partner that we should go to this party of these people we had hardly knew. They kind of begged us to go to the party and as I and my partner could not come up with a suitable reason why we could'nt attend we were stuck in going.
That evening I just felt like not going - but my partner forced me out of the house and to the party. We got there about 45 minutes after the party was suppose to start. As we walked up the drive it seemed very quiet for a party and I noticed there weren't many cars around. We were starting to wonder if we were at the wrong address or had the wrong date.
As it turns out we were at the right address and had the right date but we were the only guests who had attended. What a nightmare - yet my good natured partner tried to make light of the situation.

Hot Under The Collar
IIt was my first proper night out clubbing with the girls. I had no clue what to wear at all! So I wore something similar to what my other friends would be wearing.... A LOVELY BLACK WOOLY JUMPER WITH A BIG TURTLE NECK!! I soon learnt my lesson... never wear anything long sleeved let along black and woolly whilst out clubbing. The sweat and the body odour was awful!

Birthday Blues
On my birthday i webt to the pub on my own then as i went home all my mates were in my house and they said they've been there ever since i left half an hour later!

The First Date
II was on a first date with a guy I quite liked so had put a little extra effort into the outfit. You know, skirt instead of habitual jeans, stilettos instead of flats. Well, we were walking into the joint where the party was being held and the heel of one of my shoes got stuck in the rubber mat. I kept going but my foot remained rooted to the mat. Consequence? I fell flat on my face in front of everyone. Needless to say, the date didn't go well after that and we never went out again. And I hadn't even had a drink!

A Night to Forget!
II was on holiday in France, staying with a pal who was there on placement…
We were playing "Split the deck", a card game where whoever gets the lowest value card has to down their drink in one. For some reason, I couldn't lose! For about 30 minutes we played (with vodka in shot glasses), and I saw the people around me getting drunker and drunker - part of our rules were you couldn't drink unless you lost, and I was getting fed up being the only sober person - something I'm not used to!
Well finally my turn came, I lost and everybody started cheering. That day I'd bought myself a soup mug, and one of my (drunken) friends filled it to the brim with vodka and told me to down it. For some stupid reason I figured it was only around what everyone else had drank that evening, and I knocked it back…
Next thing I remember is waking up with a horrible feeling the next morning, I couldn't remember a thing after that! I went to the bathroom, and discovered I'd a black eye, and of course panicked profusely over how I got it. I woke my friend up, and asked what had happened. Apparently no one knows how I got the black eye, but the general consensus was I'd fallen into the toilet bowl and hit my eye… Then my friend tried to put me to bed and I kept crawling into the pillow case thinking it was my nightdress…
To top it all, this was on my last night in France. My hangover had just about abated by the next evening when we left. I was travelling back again with a male friend, and a black eye! On the plane the cabin staff kept being really nice to me and throwing him very dirty looks, obviously thinking we were a couple and he'd given me the black eye.

Accidents Will Happen
On a works night out, I was running around a car park in the dark chasing some of my colleagues with a large water pistol, as a result of a great deal of alcohol intake. Unfortunately darkness and drink led to disaster as I collided with a short fence and twisted my knee really badly. I ended up on crutches for two weeks...

Hen Night Memories
We were on a friend's hen night on a university campus when we decided it would be a great idea to ride on our friend's disabled motorised buggy (we did have her permission :-). The hen and I got on it - one bum cheek on the seat each - and drove around campus, collecting flowers along the way. There was a fancy dress ball on that night and we got a lot of strange looks when we drove past all the students, headbanging to Van Halen's 'Jump'. Great fun but very embarrassing when we got the photos back and saw how drunk we looked. And the security guards weren't too impressed, especially when they saw us ably walking back to the pub afterwards.
